Q: Are the windows boarded up. And what is the community like. I am planning a trip
A: It's still open. Many stores are partially boarded up while still remaining open. Idk where you are traveling from, but the community around downtown is fine; Michigan Ave is a popular place for people to walk around/eat/window shop. Indoor dining is currently unavailable due to Covid though.
